Do you want to wear makeup but you feel guilty about it or are you afraid that someone close to you will condemn you or judge you for doing so? Let’s go back to the foundation of the earth shall we! When God created man, He created us in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:27). So yes my friend that makes you a god, with a little “g” because we are made like Him! God is a Creator! Therefore so are we! When He first formed the world, it was NOTHING like it is today! That’s because man, being in His image, has that wonderful creative factor to our being and look at the beautiful world we have accomplished through The Almighty. Now back to the subject at hand. Natural beauty! Do I personally believe in it? I surely don’t! lol I don’t believe in it because I can take a bare face with no makeup and make it look even more beautiful with all the tips and techniques I know from being a professional makeup artist. Women are beautiful and gracious beings. Women also go through so much within a lifetime that can take a toll on the body. For an example, a woman who has children is more than likely a woman that does not get enough sleep at night therefore that creates bags under her eyes. Now though she may be beautiful, I’m sure going out to face the world naturally everyday with her dark circled baggy eyes also makes her self-conscious and may cause her to shrink as woman because she feels less than and unattractive. So you see my friends, makeup is more than skin deep. It is a blessing from God Himself to build back our confidence where we are lacking because He knows that with time these bodies will eventually wrinkle and get old. We have makeup to perk us up where we may fall short. If you’re anything like me, you like the idea of transforming yourself into a different version of you! There is nothing wrong with makeup. It can be an expression of one’s creativeness and excitement about life and how they like to change it up. A lot of natural things that God provided us with go through some type of cosmetic process to suit our needs and desires! Like that gorgeous wooden cabin that came from a tree or that ugly piece of coal that went through a rough process and became a beautiful diamond. The point I’m trying to make here is if the barn needs to be painted then paint it! Be your most beautiful self and sometimes you’ll need a little help achieving that and its ok! Create your best self because it’s in you to do so!
